pal version is region free ... so there is no need for a ntsc rls.

Why the hell would MS ban you for playing the PAL version? It's the pirated game that matters, not the region of the game...

abgx360 works like this , when someone buys a retail version they dump theirs stealth files to the data base .... so by doing abgx check you overwrite a pre-order disk stealth to retail disk stealth
kinda makes it pointless to stealth it again, because they both are stealth ... but here is the catch some disks are watermarked, specially those that have xblive
the catch is pre-order/you don't know from what ass disks have a number stealth , its like playing two online games with the same serial, just check Bad Company or Brothers in Arms 3 scene rips with abgx360 and you get it....

Is this game any good? The first time I heard of it years ago, I thought it was the stupidest idea for a game and never looked into it. Never seen trailers of it either.

I swear I read somewhere that Halo was meant to be an RTS from the get go and they decided to do an FPS. I could be wrong. But I definitely recall reading that.

I used it on mine even before it was available in retail, no ban or anything. So its safe... Regarding the release date, I believe MS is a bit lenient because some places break the street date...

Maybe you could get Halo_Wars_ASiA_XBOX360-SuperX360, it said it is region free in the nfo and it is ntsc with english in it.

You wont know if it got you banned until the next ban wave, they dont ban one box at a time. I just think it's weird a NTSC/USA ver was never released.

Actually there is plenty of need for NTSC release.
Regions have some hard-coded IP addresses in them that tell them where to connect.
Everytime an NTSC region boots a PAL game, even if it's region free, it still sends their traffic to the other side of the world, resulting in some unwanted lag. |

Exactly. There is no PROOF MS bans for pre-release. They ban for bad data though!
