Hi guys ive got a buget of about £500 and i fink i may have found a decent spec. any advice would be nice guys as this is the first time im buying a pc that aint outa a superstore lol.

There is no reason whatsoever to get three memory sticks of one gigabyte, get either 2x1gb or 2x2gb for x64 operating system. The motherboard runs on dual channel, not triple like the core i7 motherboards. Also, ram is dirt cheap, get 1066mhz.

And if going for quad core, go with the 45nm series while making sure the motherboard will support it.

Of course there's a point, just not a good one.

and i would also change the video card .... almost ancient tech Very Happy. go for a GF 260 "at least" Very Happy

what's the difference tween 260GTX n 280GTX?...can i put,for example,Team Fortress 2 TO THE MAX?..usin' E6600@2,4ghz..if CPU's not good you should Overclock it,but if you're afraid (like me) to OC just get an E8400 from Intel,cheap at the moment for gaming purposes,since Quad these days are not much useful if u dun do video editing or stuff..
