Hello, I'm experiencing distorted and weird looking shadows in some games. It's the worst in Grid, here is a screenshot:

I'm running Windows 7 with the Nvidia Driver installed by Windows Update (179.23) so that might be the problem, but I'm curious if other people are experiencing the same thing?

Here are my specs:

Core 2 Duo e8400
GeForce 9800 GT
4 GB RAM
Windows 7

Any help is greatly appreciated!

The latest Beta Drivers for Windows 7 are the ones I have installed thru Windows Update:

NVIDIA drivers for Windows 7 Beta

NVIDIA drivers for the Windows 7 Beta release can be downloaded directly from Microsoft’s Windows Update service.

Ok I solved the problem. Apparently the 1.1 patch fixes an issue with incorrent shadows on some resolution/aspect ratio combinations. That's why I didn't experience the bad shadows on my old PC with version 1.0...

Doesn't explain why this also happens in Mass Effect, but it probably isn't the drivers fault...

You're using beta drivers on a beta OS.

"Now there's your problem !"
