Alright so i can get a Logitech G7 mouse for 30 bucks and i have been wondering if it's worth it. From the reviews i have read it seems that it is but i'd like to have some opinions from non reviewers as well. How does it compared with the MX510 (which i have now).

Also , would i be better off with this instead :

DPI is better and the ratings are good but that orange button is ugly as fuck Laughing

Seriously, I have yet to see an honest review of someone who has said they've improved their gaming skill because their mouse has higher DPI. Hell many top cs gamers and quake gamers still use MSI 3.0 and do just fine.

Stick with what feels good in your hand.

I found it better going from a regular DPI mouse to my razers, the clicking is easier and the quicker response is better.

The G7 is an excellent mouse and at that price I think you should snatch it. I had it for 2 years and it was awesome!

I don't know

I sure noticed a difference between my regular 15$ logitech mouse and my MX510. The MX510 was more fluid and had a better response. Not everyone may have the same experience but to me it was like night and day (OK maybe not as drastic but you get my point).

And , i will most likely grab that G7 for 30$. Very Happy

I sure as hell would. The G7 is the only mouse I've ever seen put Razer on their toes for competiton. If I wasn't such a damned razer fanboi it'd be my choice.

Well , in the end i did bought the G7 but not for 30$.............but for 20$ + taxes included instead Very Happy (ahh the joy of knowing someone working in a Pawn Shop).

It's a great mouse so far. Nice design , range and excellent response make this the best wireless mouse i have ever owned. The only downside is that the battery life is short and i have to switch it every 7-10 hours depending on the usage. That's no biggie with the rechargeable station and 2nd battery though. For price i paid it , i don't really have any room to complain anyway Very Happy.

That said i would probably still trade it for a G5 if i had the chance. Not because the G7 is crap , to the contrary , but because i prefer wired mouses for gaming and the G5 is basically the wired version of the G7 Smile
