I got approved of a small interest free loan, that and plus some money i have saved, i'm buying a laptop my budget is £850, Uk shipping is a must, need to get a final decision of a model by february 3rd, it's use's are as follow's:

WoW
Fallout 3
Red Alert 3
COD4
Movie's
If possible, to play mp3's whilst doing these(Games)...

I was looking to get the Dell M1530 for £849, has a 8600gt 256mb, i think it's GDDR3
http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/xpsnb_m1530?c=uk&l=en&s=dhs&cs=ukdhs1&~oid=uk~en~20211~jan_xpsnb_m1530_n01x5304~~

But if you guy's can link me to something better for my money, would be a great.

Oh and "Buy a desktop it's cheaper" is not what i need, i have a damn good desktop for home use, this is for when i go to my mom's/other relative's/friend's house and watch movie's with my daughter.

Your suggestion's are greatly appreciated.

I know alot of people say Acer suck, but i was looking at this http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Acer_Aspire_6920G_Gemstone_Blue_Laptop_LX.APQ0U.088/version.asp

Good processor, good Ram, only thing is, i was hoping for it in a 8600GT, 9500GS is a bit meh.

EDIT: for a small stretch more.

I'd steer clear of the 8600m GT. That GPU is apparently one of the most likely to fault from what I've read around the net.

Try and get an 9600m GT. Something like this:

I got one of those a month ago for 699€.

Well if i wait just over a week i can stretch to this, which should be enough for anything i throw at it, apart from Crysis of course, then again...maybe on medium, but 6mb cache, 2.5Ghz and a 9600GT GDDR3 SDRAM - 512 MB.

The HP Dv5t/7t are both great and capable machines, but one thing to remember is that it has a ddr2 9600m GT.

But the price can't be beat. I 've got a dv5t coming.

I'm just debating on whether to get the 15.4" or the 17" version.
