I got two old 17" CRT monitors on my basement that don't work, one only shows things in purple and shit and the other doesn't power up at all probably some power unit problem
I want to fix them and sell them for few bux, it'll give me something to do this weekend and I'll make some little bucks

any ideas?

My advice: Unless you have some serious know-how, forget all about it. You'll end up spending more money than gaining any by having someone else fix em. And fixing yourself? Sorry but CRTs are a BITCH to even disassemble and reassemble, let alone fixing anything. Sell em at a yardsale, as-is, or give em to goodwill or something.
