I got this issue where suddenly the NEC dvd writer on both my pc's just wont burn a saussage anymore .. Tried imageburn/nero/fireburner/poweriso/standard windows/ashampoo...

It either hangs at leading in.... or hangs at end if it does make an attempt to burn an iso at syncronizing cache.. means i goto end task, hard reboot, as the disk light and HD stays on.. Never has this happen before, its just come on all of a sudden.. turned off daemon tools and removed the drive it makes as well. And i get same outcome..

Oh ive also updated firmware on the writers, and in imageburn i tested with all I/O types aspi etc still the same... New media bought not expensive stuff but stuff I know that has worked fine before.. Any ideas appreciated.. Otherwise all I can try is a fresh OS install as im miffed at what it could be.. I cant believe both drives would go duff at same time ffs so must be a system option service or something..Sad
