I have a xvid music video that was encoded from a VHS tape. It is to fast it needs to be slowed down about a step musically. How can I do this without loosing sync.

Have you tried ripping the sound off the movie, running it through an audio editor until it syncs with the film (play them in seperate side by side screens to check) then readding it to the movie, if you get the right speed but out of sync slightly, you could run it through vlc and if you want to reburn it it the tell your burning software (I use convertX) to advance or retard the audio track. Just a suggestion.
