|
 |
I recently came across these devices called M3 and R4 while searching on how to mod the DS to play MP3s. Apperently these devices also play movies and roms in addition to playing MP3s. Are there any other similar products on the market? If so which is the recommended one.

I have a M3 Real with a GBA Expansion cart, means I can play gba and even old gameboy games with it, it's awesome!

You can play old GB games because the M3-Real has a built-in GB emulator .. and yeah, it's awesome. Next to the CycloDS, it's the best flashcart you can get.
Ignore the R4. It's outdated and crap. Get the CycloDS or the M3-Real with the GBA expansion.

With a NES emulator, yes. Get NesDS .. it's the best one.

Good device from what I've seen on the net, but the favourites are the CycloDS and the M3-Real.

The one reason I continue to love CycloDS is that whenever a games comes out that doesn't run quite right (freeze, crash, won't boot, whatever) the Cyclo team usually has a fix out ASAP (Chrono Trigger was fixed within 2 days).
Their service seems unmatched.

Heh, not sure that's true... I seem to recall everyone having problems with Chrono Trigger and now Phantasy Star Zero. ;P

I wouldn't know about PSZ or CT, as the DS is my mom's -- and I've not seen her in two months, lol. Every other game I've tried in the last year has worked flawlessly with no hassles.

that blows, Im suing a R4v2 with latest (1.18) firmware and ive not had a problem yet running roms ive downloaded,, think the only one i had to have patched was Monster lab.. but works if u just download a patched version. Son loves it, endless gaming for free hehe..
Been enjoying dragon balls: original and many others myself..
