|
 |
Whenever i plug a usb device in my pc, i get msg saying
"this device can perform faster please plug it in a usb 2.0 port".
I get that in all my ports, but they are all usb 2.0 ports.
I have usb 2.0 enabled in the bios as well.
I have a asus p5qe motherboard with windows 7 installed.
Can anyhone help me please?

Drivers is your first port of call to test out.. Other than that I know of only one other time ive seen this happen, and that was to a mate of mine where the board went faulty and his usb ended up not really working much at all eventually.
Im sure its not that bad for you as its recognising something being plugged in and telling you, you can do it faster hehe. Try moving your arm and hand a little quicker when plugging it in
no just kidding, but check the drivers out from mainboard manufacturer etc. Also check windows update see what it throws at you if anything.
