Quick question. I know TVersity can be used to encode video files on the go, playable in the Wii Internet Browser channel - however I was wondering if there was any homebrew in progress / completed that allowed for the Wii to connect to a file share on a wireless network and stream the xvid / divx in its original format (no reencoding)?

Sorry for the late answer on this one... The only things that I know of that can stream files is TVersity and Winamp Remote. Nothing Homebrew that I have seen can stream through anything but the Opera browser. There are other solutions like MPlayer (which can now be installed as a channel) that plays files from the SD, USB, etc Check it out here.
