so i don't give a shit about gaming or watching movies
needs to be 17" with 1920x1200 res tho
and not over 2000$ with all tax+shipping+something to carry it in
for "school work" + browsing + youtubin' lolz
thinking about Dell Studio 17 Laptop
what's your suggestion?

lol MAC never ever, and 17" hp business model (HP Compaq NX7400) are both over 2000$ CAD
lenovo has only 1 17" and it starts at 4000$+ lol with some crazy workstation graphic card, wtf is this shit

i'm looking at notebookforums i think my head will blowup so much info and choices
basically need:
1920x1200 res 17"
7200rpm hdd
carry case
dont really give a shit about the rest
for 2k max CAD

Anyone know what the deal is with these HP DX7-1170us laptops? Damn they look sweet but will they last a year without various parts starting to die?
