gidday mates,
i recently swiched froma 8800 to 9800 , i unnistalled the drivers and reinstalled 9 series but all my games freeze after a while and get a colored screen with sound, i want to do a clean install of drivers butr forgot the name of the program that does it i used it once,
i found one on google driver cleaner pro is that it? i thought it had a different name...

Get Driver Cleaner, Driver Sweeper (VGAdeadcafe recomended) and get CCleaner for cleaning the reg files.

Uninstall the driver using unistall manager in Windows.

Start up in SAFEMODE and start with Driver Cleaner followed by Driver Sweeper, then run CCleaner.

That should clean any traces of the old drivers 100%

Boot back up and install the latest driver....automatic reboot.

Done.
