Hey.. I've got a 360 that runs just fine and dandy, but there is one thing about it that is annoying. As soon as I turn that bad boy on the fan goes to high speed and stays like that untill I turn it off. I suppose it helps keeping it cool and all, but running at full speed ALL THE TIME? That surely can't be normal.
So what could make it do that?

I think the fans have just one speed, I never noticed them getting faster or slower. The fans themselves are reasonably quiet here. Are you sure it's not the DVD-rom?

Nah.. atleast I don't think they have just one speed. Aren't they supposed to vary depending on temperature inside the console? For example, one of my other consoles is like.. Shhhhh quiet. But will speed up from time to time.
And nope it is not the dvd drive.
And thanks for the suggestion, but it's not dust. Unless the bunnies run away and hide every time I open that bad boy up.
