I'm trying to get invited to #nforce but it's not inviting me for some reason. I'm definitely using the right user and password and when I msg with just "auth" it still gives instructions on how to get invited so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Works for me. There was a long time netsplit earlier, maybe that prevented you from joining?
