Not entirely true. He has ignited this whole bashing by starting his 'who's the real Obama' campaign with Palin being left to do all the scare-mongering while he keeps his distance. Continuously referring to 'the real Obama' is insinuating that Obama is hiding something but he's not giving any information or hard facts. All he's doing is talking about people Obama might have associated with in the past without telling the whole story. He's leaving it to the american to fill in the blanks and that they do to the best of their ability and imagination.

I think the word "ignorant" is overused and misunderstood. Ignorance generally applies to the subject at hand, whereas most of the people that are called ignorant are just generally uneducated in all subjects.
