Without Office 2007, same windows just installed after clean format

Any idea why is it that way?

I;m starting to think its b/c of my Office 2007 & SP1;all updates
My school only uses Office 2007 and have all my work in that :/

Just for hell of it, I made new partition with same windows but without office 2007 and all my symbols look correct as they suppose to look like

just sucks every time, i want to work with mathcad have to switch partitions ><

I wonder how long before, they will install vista on those computers

Use Wolfram Mathematica for computing, and LateX for writing formulas (you can do them in Office 07 if you don't have time to learn LateX code, which is pretty easy if you ask me)
