A quick question to all hardware gurus in the forum.

I have a A8N-SLI Premium mobo with a AMD64 3800.
I need a new card and was thinking about the 9800GTX+. I know it will be capped by the bandwidth of my config, so instead of wasting money I want to know which GeForce card can be used in the above config without been capped.

And yes, I know I need a full upgrade, but that will be later, and I still gonna need a hdcp card since the current config will be used to create a media center.

Buy one of the cheaper 8800 series. Don't spend your money on the 9800gtx with that CPU.

get the new 4670, its about the 3850 speed for 66 euros

You might as well just save up and upgrade them both at the same time. There's no point in getting hardware that will only be handicapped by other hardware.
