I've heard about lot's of different reviews by very different people about the best antivirus/firewall/(security suite) available now, and there's a mixture of disagree about two products, one being Kaspersky 7 and the other Being Eset Nod32 3.0, when I see site ratings some give Kaspersky a better rating and others give Nod32, but I guess that's all a matter of promoting one or the other.

Some reviews I've read claim that Kaspersky is the best because it's the one that's selling the most, I hardly disagree that the subject of which one sells better makes the software being the 1st or 2nd best, we all know a few years back Norton was a record sale monster and it was among the worst antivirus I can remember.

I'm currently using Eset Smart Security 3.0 and I can only say it's the lightest and most stable piece of software I've used in a long time, plus it picks up every threat.

The last version of Kaspersky I've used was 6.0 and was perceivable inferior to the the Eset counterpart.

What is the experts opinion about which antivirus is overall better? Kaspersky? Nod32? or yet another choice?

I agree with that statement deeply, but commonsense aside, there's always software that's better than each other.

seen the comparatives, glad I choose Nod32 is the best rated along with Avira, didn't thought that Kaspersky was so badly rated, publicity can do wonderful things for a worthless piece of crap Laughing

2. Nod32
