Right now I have the red and white audio cables from my PS3 going into a Logitech Adapter and a set of headphones plugged into the other end. The problem with this is that the audio is unamplified, and a lot of my games are really quiet and hard to hear even on max volume.
I was thinking, could I plug in a 3.5mm Male to Male patch cable into the adapter instead, and plug the other end of that cable into the LINE IN on my soundcard? That way I could use my sound-card to amplify the sound and have PC audio (Teamspeak) and PS3 audio (game) coming through the SAME set of headphones at the same time?
Would appreciate some expertise on the matter
