Trying to install the game froze my windows explorer. Deleted.
Ah NM it was just taking a really really long time to start the setup.exe. Must of been a huge file since those take a while to run. Well too late now Had already gotten rid of it.

Have it installed, its actually very well put together, once u get past the initial tutorial stuff, its fine. It is as you say based on a show about them all doing the crab hauls.
Its different of course, but for what its supposed to portray, it does it well.

Who the hell would like a simulator that simulates an awful job? A game where you simulate how to be a fisherman. Wow. I'm flabbergasted.
What's next? The street sweeper sim, The dishwasher simulator, Accountant machine, The cabinet filing game, The watching paint dry game (it's an actual job. I saw it on a tv-show). No matter how important these jobs are to a modern society they really don't have to make games about them.

I heard they were making a Nforce forum posting sim, see how many displeasurable posts one can make in 24hrs, its played realtime i believe.

Working as a fisherman is a real luxury job.
There is nothing more modern and luxury than a new fishingboat, and the pay you get is so good, that you can work a few months every year, and still live good..
Working fulltime makes you (very) rich.
I hate you.

Have you seen deadliest catch?
A few months a year is certainly the case for the Alaskan fisherman, but the rest of it is bullcrap, they have an extremely hard dangerous job. Personally I think it's insane going to that length for a bit of crab no matter how fancy it is.
If you're talking about normal fisherman it's still a fairly hard job, and relatively dangerous, far from luxury, and does not pay well enough to work a few months a year by a long shot.

I'm talking about the big norwegian fishing boats, and belive me, it's a luxury working on them.

NIce game if you ask me , finished the quest mode and i must say after it you get to explore the ship in fps mode with lots of funny videos, this one is a true gem

I love that show, watch it ever week as well. There is a womans survivor-like show now based on it. Watching that too.
We talked about it a while ago. You have to let me know how you like the game, I have to live it vicariously through you. No for mac and running bootcamp for games is shit.
