|
 |
Hello,
i've been playing HD movies for quite a while now.
as of today (its been a while since i last played an hd files), i noticed that the files go badly out of sync after a few minutes, it doesnt really matter what the size of the file is.
i'm quite lost here, because i dont know what to do, the problems occurs with trailers ive downloaded from apple.com (*.hdmov extension) and with movies ive got on my comp (*.mkv extension).
all files are 720P.
my specs are:
OS: Windows XP SP3
CPU Type: DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E6550, 2333 MHz (7 x 333)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P35-S3L (3 PCI, 3 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN)
Memory: 2048 MB (DDR2-667 DDR2 SDRAM)
temps are around 40C.
my codec pack is the k-lite full one (with all options installed).
what can i do? thanks in advance
Signature rules. Options:
* Image (max 600x100 pixels, 60kb) - no text
* Image (max 200*50) + Text (max 2 lines)
* Text (max 4 lines)

codec pack
Uninstall all the crap, then install Halli MKV + CoreAVC + AC3Filter (or replace the last two with FFDSHOW).

You can also try The KMPlayer, it's all-in-one ala VLC, but much faster when properly tuned.

Yeah, FFDSHOW is the most complete thing you'll ever need. It has a much better quality h264 decoder than CoreAVC, but it's slower.
