If you burned it to a disc you should be choosing "Run DVD" or something, the "Games" option is only if you extracted the ISO onto your Xbox harddrive.

I did extract the iso to the harddrive when i go to boxplorer and then e/games it says halo2_dvd5.iso

You have to extract the iso, you can't put the ISO image on the harddrive.

YOU EXTRACT THE ISO FILE, you have said that you got a halo2 iso like a hundred times, extract it and then transfer it to you xbox.

I told you Craxtion, gave you a link and everything, you said it doesn't work, you said it says the ISO is corrupt.
There's no more aid we can offer, if your ISO won't extract, it's broken and there's nothing anyone can do.
We've tried leading you to people who can help which is xbox-scene.com.

Try xiso, it's downloadable http://xbox-scene.com/tools/tools.php?page=isotools. Scroll down to the bottom to find it and if you still can't extract the ISO then you're source you downloaded from sucks and you need to find another without requesting it here.
