I agree though, if its just stupidity in general, it bugs me like hell. Working on a bar I see it daily.

A guy who looked quite young came in to the bar for a pint. He was with some of his mates who all looked the age so I thought id give him a break and served him. He proceeded to get mashed out of his face that night and caused trouble. He then asked for a job.. So I saw the opportunity and asked him to write down his full details and date of birth. He fell for it instantly and wrote down he was 17. Dumbass.. Out he got slung.

I then saw a woman take her shoes off. Walking around a pub late at night when every one in the place is wasted with bare feet. Use your head love.. one glass drop and she is sliced to ribbons then we get the blame. Countless times asking her to put her shoes back on ignored. Fucking idiot Neutral

You saw it as an opportunity to check his age out by letting him fill out a job application after you got him smashed? WTF? You didn't see opportunity in asking for picture id when he first sat down.? Drunk 17 yr old causing trouble, who would of thunk it.

As far as dumb fuck the bare foot woman, no shoes, no service and GTFO. Period. Call her a cab and put her in it.

Tthere are many kinds of stupid, all with different reasons. Confirmation bias is a strong source of stupidity in discussions, if that's what got you aggravated today.

indeed peoples willingness to build conclusions on garbage foundations is what annoys me. It makes conversing with people a perpetual up hill struggle due to having to forever dig through the garbage. Plus getting people to admit they are lying to avoid having to face the fact they just don't know yet it is like pulling teeth. Yes you are quite right I'm sure, its just these go with the flow types seem to have a latent interest in actually addressing questions they have & enter into discussions, like some shadow of their individuality is screaming to get out from under the mountain of conformity. I guess I'm just pissed that whatever I write peoples backs get up, its like resevous dogs or something. there is also the "problem" that people are group animals. it has its advantages and its disadvantages. Wether you like it or not you adjust yourself to another person.
When you look at the masses they all seem to have the same idea, when you look at the individual there are really dumb people but luckely also really smart people. Sometimes the dumb people "win" and sometimes the smart people

im not talking about the internetz where it obviously is way to easy to hide your true self
