Greetings to you all.

Recently I have bought a Panasonic Lumix TZ5 digital camera.
When I record a movie with it, the movie extention is *.mov only to play with quicktime.
I want to play these movies on my DVD player, but there is no DVD player that plays the quicktime fotmat. What program to convert *.mov WITHOUT quality loss.
I allready used a couple of programs, but the quality loss is huge!

Can someone help me?
Thanks.

Impossible. If the encoded codec was h264 (MOV is just a container), and if you had a bluray player, than, and just then maybe. Otherwise, reencode always means some quality loss.

Tell you what, get MKVToolnix, run mmg.exe, and try to drag a MOV file inside. If it says h264, whoopie. If not, I'll see what to recommend.
