You can easily get friends who'll criticise you. You can't obviously rely on critcism from people on the internet. If you believe they know more about you than your real life friends and they deserve to present you your flaws... then i am sorry. Really, trully, sorry.
None of us here know each other. Some of us do. If your personal life spans through the internet, and you have more online friends than in real life... then I must say wow.
Some of us share things here cause we've established a trust. We've established a friendship. A faceless friendship. Sometimes it's easier to tell your problems to someone who you can trust but you don't know. That way your problems stay with them. Your problems stay only with them. To them you're your alias. You have no name. You have no identity. It's easier. It's softer. It's nicer. It's harder to tell your drinking buddies that some guy under some nickname in some forum sucked some guys dick and well learned to swallow... 
But asking someoe on the internet if you're this person. If you're this and that. It's stupid. Just plain stupid. Shows you have absolutley no friends if you take on what faceless identities say about you seriously. If you don't care what they say. If you don't care what they think. Then you're just bored. Not lonley, but bored. And frankly... bored people sometimes do need to get a life. The weather is nice out this time of year. A lot of movies are playing right now. Drinks are cheeper. Women are sluttier.
Life is... more than just opinions on the internet. It's actually fun!

This is all true if you bring yourself to the forum. I don't that much, so yeah, for the NFOhump persona, I need people from NFOhump to tell me where I need to improve (according to them). Now, as a general rule for the internets and real life, you always learn something new from those that don't like you. Your friends are, well, your friends. You like them, you feel comfortable with them, you don't learn much from them about yourself.
