not too much time saved then. Worth it for the silence. On the whole, I miss the old look dash No advertising.

Same mate. I wasn't too much of a fan of the blades, but God I miss them now after the NXE got release.

And man - Avatars - WHY?! Everyone says it, but damn, they copied off Big N 100%. The eyes are ripped STRAIGHT from the Mii setup. M$ are getting worse and worse.

I got some excellent improvements in load speed for Fallout 3 after installation. Although it made no discernible difference for Spiderman: Web of Shadows. The lack of noise coming from the DVD-ROM is good enough reason alone for me.

It's all about the games. If you take a game like GTA4 for example, the differencve will be noticeable. The DVD not spinning alone is a great improvement. I don't like the looks of the new dash, but I like the new features.

Yeah, just tried it with rockband2, its awesome! Silence plus faster loading, I love it... time for those 120gb hdd prices to drop!
