Anyone running server 2008 on their desktop?
What is the max memory supported on the x86 version?
Is there DX10 support.
I am sick of the memory hungry Vista.

But yeah, if superfetch works its nice to have, but for playing games for example you might as well kill for the timebeing.

If the PC so needs the RAM it holds, it will be paged, just like anything else, so it would be criminally stupid to have it off, seeing how fast my Visual Studio starts with it, and how slow it starts without it (just one example).

one should never cause windows to page, cause that is crazy.
And i never said to disable superfetch completely, but if needed for the timeframe of playing a game for example.
