I would like to know games with multiple endings however not OPEN ENDED games. The point is separate those non-linear games from others like the sandbox games, or openended without a narrative core(like Elite).

One example would be geneforge 4 in that you choose over dozens of different endings.

Those Japanese "adventure games" have a ton of different endings.

Anyway there's also quite a few normal titles that use different endings and not all of them are "sandbox" titles like for example Gothic and Morrowind.

Examples would be the new Alone in the Dark game, most of the silent Hill and Resident Evil titles, Obscure, Fallout Tactics (Not really open ended as it's quite linear compared to F1 and F2.) Bioshock, Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit, Deus Ex and Deus Ex 2 and probably a lot of other games. Smile

meh, there's many
it was a trend in the first half of the decade to have the story branch off in the last two minutes of the game just so they can say it has several endings

Fallout (of course).
A lot of japanese tactical roley playing games. Like Final Fantasy Tactics, Ogre Battle, Tactics Ogre and many, many others. A lot of them have branching storylines and different endings (sometime very complicated - just have a look at Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis FAQ).

Bioshock doesn't count... go into the movies folder and watch the opposite after you beat it.
