Back to World War II, great. That genre hasn't yet been overplayed. IIRC, there are different studios working on the Call of Duty genre? The studio doing World at War and the ones who did Call of Duty 4 are different?

Someone will correct me if I am wrong, but im personally getting tired of WW2 shooters.

i hate WWII games, the only exception is company of heroes... but overall when i see a WWII game i want to puke..

anyway somewhere i heard that the team behind COD 4 will make a sci-fi game.. hope it's true..

i really don't care about the wwII bulshit that the next COD will be, and i loved the 4th part Sad

I just hope that MP is as awesome as in CoD2/CoD4. Don't care at all about single player.

It seems to be both in Pacific (trailer) and Europe (Reichstag screenshot), I won't hold my breath but it could be pleasant, i.e. at least better than the shitty medal of honor: airborne.

I'm rather fond of futurstic scenarios. New weapons etc.

Or we certainly don't have a FPS in let's say Napoleon times or Civil War. Muskets, cannons, bayonets. That could be fun. Maybe battles against the indians. Although I can't see how that one could be called Call of duty: Massacre the redskins.

Actually there was one, made by Activision Value, using the CoD2 engine. It wasn't bad, but zzzzz slow.

Well with all the CoD games that has been made, CoD 3 is the only one that didnt got me hooked and never bother finishing it...and this one is made by the same guys

I think a setting in space would be cool. A bit like Halo but much more realistic and gritty (and by that i mean no purple aliens or shit like that). The enemies could be simply other humans from another system or a colony that rebeled against Earth and declared war ect.Cool

That said , why in the blue fucking fuck are they setting it up during ww2 AGAIN. Jesus christ , most people are sick of that and there are countless over countless of games about it. Why don't they simply chose another war like let's say the Korean War , the Civil war or i don't know. WW2 is recycled trash and it has been done to death.

I was hoping that CoD 4 would lead the series forwards, not backwards again. They will sell CoD5 solely on the name. Not saying it's going to be shit, but I think most are tired of WW2 shooters right now, considering that there has been a bunch out now especially since CoD was released. Not only that, but there has only been 1 non WW2 CoD, and that was CoD4. But whatever I guess.

I wasn't whining, I was just saying. Don't like it? Thats ok. You don't have to. Wink
