It appears my mobo has decided to flop on me... So far the best deal im finding is at:

http://www.logicalplus.com/

Ive never used them before, and I was hoping someone might know about them or know if its at least safe to order from them?

If you interested in what happened read on:
---

The mobo is an ASUS A8N-SLI, and at this time I cant really afford switching over to AM2 by getting a new mobo & CPU, so my intention is to just get another Socket 939 board.. Also, I dont really need a SLI board, so if anyone knows where a non-sli Socket 939 MOBO is that has similar specs (needs to work with a Opteron 180 Id love to check it out!

As for my problem.. In honesty it could still be the PSU or CPU (im still in the process of testing them).. But Im basically preparing myself.. lol

I was playing a game last night and left the room only to return to a frozen pc.. so I did a hard-reset and it resets fine, but about 3 minutes into the same game it repeats freeze. Another reboot, this time into BIOS menu where it freezes while looking over the temps/voltages... from then on it just sits at a black screen and wont post or anything..

Im at a loss, but ive pulled and tested everything except the psu and cpu...

I didnt really test the HD's on my other machine, instead I just pulled them all off the board and tried to boot without them entirely.. Same symptom..

Also, ive since tested a dif psu and CPU in the pc and same result... Its really sounding like the mobo to me.

Not sure what else there is to rule out really..

Look at the hardware listed on that site... I say the site is/was legit but abandoned long ago... The prices are way off and the hardware is so old... Looks like they stopped updating around the time Pentium D's started being released. I would highly advise not buying anything from there as I don't think they are in business anymore.
