well, i said "you gotta go the whole nine yards, man", meaning that if you do something you should do it to "its full extent", which is funny, because he was extending your name.
then syco said "or the whole ten yards, referring to the sequel to the movie "the whole nine yards". Which is a great movie, and also canadian if i remember correctly (so its also funny, coming from him. Him being a canadian and all), and thus alluding to the fact that one could always go even further
So i went the whole ten yards by doing the "half-assed" attempt to play with the extra yard by using the ass-fisting metaphor, which also resonates well with the thread-title, i might add.
I found it profoundly funny, but having to tell why i thought it was funny makes it kinda meh now
