After the installation of vista and everything running fine, i´m finaly stuck at a problem Sad

If have to install "unsigned/uncertified" drivers for my PCI TV card (failur at installation (Files invaild bla)) .. so i read that i have to edit the registry and give the SYSTEM user full acces to it.

so my problem now is that i cant change the access rights of all the subcontainers in this reg key. it just gives out "Acces denied". i tryed starting regedit as Administrator ... as SYSTEM account user .. and with/without UAC. all did not help.

so can anyone tell me to into the registry with all needed to rights to actualy do something? Confused

as far as I know there is no way to do this atm.

only way is to boot up with driver signing off (F8 before boot) - but it only works for that one time. so you have to reinstall every time you restart your pc.

well - it should be possible to sign the driver yourself. no idea how - but i bet google will give answers...
