hello everbody,

ive made the horrid mistake of buying a twin usb PS2 controller off Ebay.
by twin usb i mean that there are two ps2-like controllers that are connected by one usb.
the mini CD supplied with the controller doesnt seem to do anything (i've managed to find an empty folder that it puts in Program files)

the device manager doesnt report of any malfunctioning devices, but there is one "Unknown Device" that appears to be installed and working properly.

i cant find any drivers for the damn controllers on the internet, and the company seems to be a little unknown.

is there anything that i can do?
thanks in advance Smile

ya, don't buy crap like that. To be honest, the 360 game pad is one of the best one and most supported when it comes to PC games. You can pick one up pretty cheap used. The controllers are built like tanks so buying a used one doesn't hold much worry with it.

Just my 2 cents

Which company? Also is there any product number or something that could help us to identify the device?

the company name is "EHERE"
but i guess its just a generic device or something.
thing is that ive only found similar devices that are only made by some unknown companies, and all of them are not offering any drivers.

Same trouble extracting the cabs, I guess you will have to stay with the generic driver provided by microsoft if we can't find any one specific...
Which gamepad it is? http://www.ehere.net.cn/producte.asp?action=1&Parentid=133
Maybe try to contact them, also what is your OS?

staying with the generic driver is the same as throwing the product to the trash.

its this one:
http://www.ehere.net.cn/producte.asp?ProdNum=539&zid=200702111655374583279

i have Windows XP SP3 but ive tried installing it on SP2 and got same result.

Try www.driverguide.com as well.

For some reason your megaupload file was flagged by firefox and I couldn't even d/l it. Must have been a false alarm.

Same error with the cab files but how will extracting the cab files help? Maybe they are not damaged and supposed to be read by the installer program.

Put them back up on ebay. Theory says that there's one born every minute and I'm sure more than a minute has passed since you bought the thing. Razz Good luck.

Sometimes the latter can be the best thing to do. Wink

Well the drivers you shared had an explicit 64-bit tag in its name, dunno if they are relevant for your 32-bit OS.
