Ok so after trying all kinda things that are supposed to work for allowing you to bypass and crack protetion, i finally figured out somthing that works.

I have tested it on the following:
    _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
    Dragon Shard
    Sniper Elite
    Total Overdose
    Suffering 2
    Black and White 2
    F.E.A.R.
    Serious Sam 2
    Quake 4
    _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

++ Using Alcohol 120% (not a big fan of Dameon tools, i know im sorry i just like Alcohol better...hehehe) and a program called Virual cd hide i was able to dupe protection by letting it use its' protection! If tht makes sence. Basically by hiding the virtual drive the cd or dvd doesn't see any problem. (Note: sorry for not looking into why it has to be in windows 2000 mode.) ++

<*****************************************>
<*******************************************>
<**** 1) mount the game and install
<**** 2) run "virtual cd hide"
<**** 3) set the compatibility to windows 2000
<**** 4) hide all the virtual drives (duh)
<**** 5) play the game

It is a method known from ages. Besides, using SR7 STOP, you just have to perform a simple click without even setting compatibility mode to Win2000. Far better, in my opinion.

Of course not. These forums have suddenly filled with total beginners who mostly have no clue what they themself or the others are talking about, this poll creater is an good example.

lets just be a little more hateful. i posted this in order to help anyone who didn't know about this and it helped a few people out. also all you "vets" should test what i said before you just bash it. virtual cd hide in conjunction with alcohol 120% has let me play all those games. anyway im glad it helped at least a few people.
