I thought I would make a thread for bitching & moaning about your problems in life.

I'll start...

There's toxic mold in my house and it's going to cost maybe $8000 to fix the damage and replace some windows.
My basement flooded last week from a storm (unrelated to mold).
Got a $800 ambulance bill.
Chronic back pain.
High blood pressure.
Ran over a blown tire at 70 mph yesterday and damaged the fender on my car.
My truck is leaking oil.
Had to pay $300 in vet bills for my cat.
Gasoline is $3.90/gallon.
Food is expensive as fuck now.
I have ants all over the kitchen.
My wife's crackhead uncle got out of prison and hangs around my in-laws house all the time.
My abdomen keeps twitching and I think I might have some kind of disease or nerve problem.
I'm getting fat.

Could be worse though.

may be, but the taxes are extreme on LPG cars, so they are only cheaper when you travel a lot by car(More than the average family).

Well at least you have the option of using the toxic mold to escape from your problems.

Never had a basement flood even in severe storms. Looks like you may want to invest in your basement.

For what? I know ambulances here are free so long as it was a valid emergency... besides unless your critically injured to the point of minutes to live with out medical treatment a ambulance isn't needed.

Stop whining you don't know the meaning of pain.

Well calm the fuck down before you kill yourself. Good excuse to avoid arguments with the wife too.

Give him money and have him buy some crack and say you wish to try it. "Change" your mind when he gets it and watch him happily snort it all and after hes done grab a soft cloth and hold it over his mouth and nose tightly but not enough to bruise. Hold for 3 minutes and problem is solved.

Stress. Take a few days off.

The pull chain for the light on my cieling fan broke and it's my only source of light in this room. You never realize how much you love light when you need it the most, trying to find work cloths with the light of my computer monitor is a pain.

We are paying about 1.37/liter

A gallon would be costing you about $5.40-ish Canadian. ( if I did the math right) It costs $90 to fill my tank on empty.

Food here is going up too. I spent $80 on groceries yesterday and it hardly shows. A couple of cans of light tuna and some veggies, cottage cheese. Some light turkey slices. I didn't even buy any cleaning stuff or bulk meat.

Had to pay house insurance this month $1,200. and property taxes $1,600. And I actually was planning on buying a new fridge this month. I am lucky I didn't because I would of ended up using my line of credit

I have an ant problem too. Happens every year when it starts to warm up, they wake up. My TV room is on the cement foundation. I raided the cracks 2 times and made myself sick. I stuck out some ant traps too. I swear they are going for the wires of my computer.

I have allergies and a weird sore throat. I swear it has fucked up my metabolism because I am sick- hungry all the time.

They just introduced a new carbon tax too. Like paying taxes on taxes on gas isn't enough. 2.4 cents per liter and going to g to 7.2 cents by 2012. That is about 27.3 cents per gallon in US terms. I have no problem with paying a carbon tax expect that is pisses me off that it always comes out of the consumers pockets when big companies and corporations, like oil companies make RECORD profits. I swear global greed is going to wipe up all out.

Our cars cost about 25% more then US. It is cheeper for canadians to buy their cars in the US.

that article is exactly what I am talking about.

They are tring to peddle it as revenue neutral or some bullshit like that.

It is esp. hard on the Northern people who have no access to transit. Places like St Johns up in Northen BC. It is like minus something 30?. They have to pay more to heat their homes and Need SUV's and 4x4 trucks. No way of driving in the snow.

They are calling it

Also even here they expect people to take transit but where I live the bus only comes every 30 min and sometimes it is so full you can't get on. It takes me about 1.5 hrs at least to reach d/t using bus and skytrain. Any housing you find around the skytrain is super expensive to rent.

Maybe they don't want to to drive as much but if they actually inproved the roads, built more lanes (we only have 1 in each direction) and built another bridge from Surrey cars wouldn't be stuck in traffic idling.

I drive to the skytrain and take that if I am going downtown but the crack heads are always camped out at the parking machines intimidating people for change. Usually only 1 machine even works because the crackheads break them. The parking lot is extraemly full and sometimes it took me 20 mins to even get a spot. The cars are always getting broke into as well.

Our transit tickets go up every year.

A 3 zone pass is $5 one way. $10 a day for most people.

Read not to contradict and confute, nor to believe and take for granted, but to weigh and consider.

To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
