have you been connected to the internetz and what was the first thing that you downloaded (apart from a website)
I've been online since 2000, though it feels a lot longer 
the first thing that I downloaded was some demo of a PC game, dunno what the name was but I do remember that it was 90 mb large hehe, I was like omg shall I download it or not...

I was online since 1997/8 (cant' remember) and I think that the first think I've downloaded was WinZip or something like that.

1995. The first thing I downloaded was more than likely a demo or patch of a pc game.
The first warez I ever downloaded was a guns n roses album in like 2000 or something.

Best friend showed me how to connect to his computer at his house via DOS and download a HowTo .txt for setting up IRC. And then my normal life was over.

In 99 i think. I dont know what the phuck i downloaded first. Because i didnt know shit about the interwebz back then. I guess i used Win MX or some other crap.

don't remember but it was before broadband was even an idea. First thing I got was some demo off of download.com . I used to spend so much time downloading demo's and crap off that site. Then I got into napster heavily.

I think it was 95-96.
I had used an intranet/email through my work but didn't know much WWW. My brother law gave me a used mac (before classic). When I hooked it up the phone line it just worked, I never paid for it.
First thing I d/l was a porn picture. It took a long time.

I emailed it as a attachment (first yahoo account, never sent an attachment before) to my brotherinlaw with a message telling him to brush his teeth before he went to bed that night. His wife got got super offended and weird about it. It was when I first realized that some women had a huge problem with it even when it was a joke.
