I like Neeson as an aging action hero, I think he's better at it than Sly Stallone and I enjoyed Taken and to a lesser degree, Taken 2, much more than I enjoyed any of Sly's recent movies.
He should team up with Mel Gibson for an action movie, it would certainly be a better pairing than Gibson and Stallone.
