Which disk is better and/or more compatible for burning???

DVD-R Is what I have always used... -R works in all PS2's and has something silly like 10mb extra storage space Razz

depends on what you play them on, both may work but dvd-r has a slightly better chance. best to use a good quality media as well.

Use dvd+r and make sure your writer can set the booktype bit to dvd-rom.
Almost all dvd-players will read your discs then.

And dvd+r gives you a slight qually advantage when burning movies!

I also use DVD+R. What i know from experience is that they can be burned much faster with ReWritable discs.
