Last week it burned just fine and then I decided to clean my PC out of dust since it was randomly shutting down after it got to desktop and whe

Today I wanted to burn some image with IMG burn and I always that Disc is not Empty but it is, tried with couple of CD, DVD+r and DL disks...all empty.

When I tried to browse that blank disk with my computer it hangs for about 20 seconds and says that Please Insert disk.

When I put DVD with some movies or something else, I get that error saying that disk is corrupted

So is my DVD burner busted?

Note : Im using DVR-112D with 1.24 firmware

You're likely to have got some dust on the lens. You could use a special cleaning cd, or try blowing into the drive to displace the dust.

It's not that VGA the lasers don't last long. Just ask a 360 owner.

wouldnt suprise me if they didnt use very good lenses on purpose though, atleast if your drive dies you can take it apart and make a cool lazer gun for burning stuff Very Happy
