I'd really like to try this game because I've heard its come a long ways since launch. Free trials for this game are not publically available, you need to get a 'buddy key' from someone who is currently subscribed. Anybody out there with a buddy key they would be willing to give me? Please send me a PM if you have one.
Its interesting how free trials are not a standard in the MMO genre. EVE-Online for example has like 3 weeks free trial now. Sure it also started out as only releasing buddy keys, but they quickly realized that its worth letting people check the game out
As for vanguard.. at launch it was horrible.. i originally preordered it, but towards the end of beta i quickly changed my mind and skipped that title.. It might be interesting to see where they are now, but i'll surely not 'expend' the buddy key of someone to statisfy my curiosity.
