alll im saying is that it would be nice to do ANYTHING you want to do, no matter how much is costs or how far away it is and such you know?

your not. your limited to a tedious life that has minor surprises once in a blue moon.
I do the same things you do and I dunno, i find it tedious. Id rather, at this point in my life, have a wife and be raising kids. not still trying to find the right girl you know? I meet and am with many girls, but they arent the woman im after, if that makes sense.

Thats not a problem with the world Syco, it's a problem with you. Do you expect all your desires to be satisfied without any effort on your part?

Arguably, even if you work all day at it, you could still very well be living a tedious life with minor surprises once in a blue moon. Just busier.

Im happy with her, its just other things are so god damn boring, work is dragging a lot lately, and work shifts currently are making my days seem so short, Im having only 20 hours a week to myself maybe less.. cos when im not sleeping, or at work etc.

My gf has some long shifts too, were supposed to be going to the cinema for a movie on saturday but I doubt I will feel up for it after working Twisted Evil

Often I find with work though, when I have my break later on in the night I feel more tired at the end. If I have my break early, I feel less tired at the end of the night Confused

Im the same way with breaks. I hate them to be honest. Once i start working, i get in the zone so to speak and would just like to continue until work is over. I also notice if i eat a heavy/large lunch im tired as fuck in the afternoon and dont feel like working. Thats why i dont eat till i get home from work.

Juggle work, your girl, your personal time is hard man. But with effort, it can be done

The world is not as good as it used to be. For example when I was growing up as a kid we had shells on the beaches. They are gone now. Most of you people on this forum are too young to even remember this but they were there and they were beautiful. Hawaii had conch shells with all sorts or other beautiful shells. Today there is nothing. No lizards either around the lights. Any light in Hawaii meant lizards you could catch as a kid.

And the frogs are gone. There used to be soo many of them and they would make sounds, and now that sound is gone too. It is like an echo now, very soft and hard to hear but it was a real boom when I was a kid. And the creek across my my house at our hoilday house was teaming with trout, I knew all the spots on the small river where they would hang. Now they are gone. You see maybe 1-2 but before there was like 40.

I used to go salmon fishing. 15 years ago it you caught alot faster but now not so much. Plus you don't even want to fish because you hear in the news how the stocks are depleted. I watched a show on sword-fish and they are almost wiped out too. And of course we have Japan killing and fishing whales and dolphins. How gross is that? Bays full of blood.

With all this bad stuff going on we have the wars, where everybody wants to kill everybody else. It can be very depressing if you are not careful with your emotions.

For some reason when you said shells, I thought you meant mortar shells. Razz

Ye, the environment is rapidly corrupting. It will take decades to fix many of the problems, and that is if we do our best.

Yes, well working the bar, I get sick of hearing the same damn conversation 60 times over as gossip is spread around the place by the regulars. I often hear one story at the start of the week, then at the end of the week I hear the same story back and its changed completely and snowballed into a ridiculous chinese whisper style story Laughing
