Why did they decide to break TV detection in their 8300 range of cards? Basically Svideo will not work since it treats it as a Primary display. When you select "Force TV detection" Its supposed to create a new monitor display like this : However on the 8300 it decides to not create a monitor and decides to treat it as a single display therefore disabling dualview? What a load of BS, Can anyone tell me what cards actually support this? 7300LE?

maybe coz majority using hdtv's? srsly who gives a fuk about s-video or rca for that matter

Can't be arsed explaining why I need SVideo over HDTV but lets just say I do.

i experienced trying to get SVHS output to work properly on nvidia cards myself , was not pleasant, bought a 2600XT for my brother and it worked out of the box without having to change a single setting , this summer ill be building a HTPC for a hopefully HD TV which ill also be using an ATI cards for. Sorry i cant really be any help directly to your problem, but ATI saved me alot of headache , its also my best advice.

OMFG They've actually removed it from their newer cards. http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=49636&st=20 Do ATI support this?
