I got into thinking about this when buying a ps3...I know I can use a HDMI-DVI cable but what about the sound? How do I get that out? :\ Anyone know?

I just googled it and saw that the ps3 has an optical audio out and a AV multi-out.
the optical out gives a digital signal which is dolby digital
it also has an AV multi-out which gives stereo.

With the 360, the hdmi cable comes with a break out for the audio as well.
Audio hookup when sending hdmi to a pc screen.
I'm sure the PS3 has something similar.
