hello everybody
i´m new to PS2 scene, so I need to know what´s the main diference between PAL and NTSC releases
AFAIK, they refer to the color system
so, if i get a version not on the same system of my PS2, it will get black & white or what? or can I get whatever version?
my ps2 is a US system, so I think its NTSC right?

ok thanks, but you´ve not answered my question
I tell that because i have some PS1 cds which asks for the system on startup of the game, and if you press the wrong button, the image gets B&W

i dont know how it works when you got a ntsc machine.
i know that if you got a PAL machine (im a PAL user) you have to use a RGB cable if you want color on NTSC games. if you dont use a rgb cable you get a black & white picture.
maybe its the same the other way around.
