So I just watched Appleseed Ex Machina and it was just mind blowing visualy and wow I was high as well so that just intesified the whole experience. But I was wondering if any of you who are big anime fans who can recommend other titles that are of that caliber.

Thanks for the recommendation & sorry I didn't use that thread Vodka reason being (which I didn't specify) is I wanted to see Anime movies only not tv series but thanks all for the suggestions. Vexille watched it today and man that one was sweet as well there was a moment in the movie that reminded me of DUNE & I thought I was watching DUNE Razz but on roids. I'm really looking for the CGI type of Anime like FF advent chidlren and vexille/appleseed. I can't seem to get into the cartoonie anime as much as the cgi ones.

Watched the ghost in the shell series and one movie and didn't like it, those robots with brat voices are annoying. There is one movie that was awesome but I don't remember the name, it took them 7 years to make it and it looks kind of different, the plot escapes me as well.

Steamboy? Very Happy No, this movie is famous I think, there is this guy and he is like a rebel or a terrorist and a female which I believe is a cop chasing him, I remember a cool song in the middle of the movie when someone opens a music box, it was a long time ago since I watched it and I don't have it anymore, high budget movie I believe somebody should recognize it.

You're welcome. No idea how much that is in dollars.
To the OP, and anyone who likes flashy cgi I highly recommend KARAS. Fukken bad ass show!
6 ep ova, not full cgi, but a helluva lot beter than Appleseed imo. That final episode stretched the very limits of awesome to the max.

Check out the preview. Wink

what would you guys consider the best Anime ever, the single one that stands in the distance above all others?

I'm going with Neon Genesis Evangelion, and there is only one order to watch it epidose 1-24 (skip ep 25-26) and then The End of Evangelion OVA.

is there anything that you would consider to be better?
