This week I've been working almost 12 Hours, each day (except today). Been sick 3 days with fever one day, best week ever!? Couldn't call in sick because I'm still on a "trial"-period and the guy before me got the kick because he was sick just once too much. And I need the money real bad getting a drivers license and what not.

Getting past this trial period in the end of the next month, so I'm hoping that my girlfriend can stop casting all these sickness periods over me. Shes sick like once a month! HIV much!? Very Happy j/k

I hate winter!

Anyways, with that rant past us:

How long do you work each day?

I have to put in a lot of personal time, which is unpaid, consequently, I also have time
where I don't work and still get paid.

I'm lucky enough to be able to work from home so I decide my own hours for the most part.

As long as all my deadlines are met I have no problems.

Normally wake up early, like around 6:00 or 6:30. Normally woken up by my 2 cats ranting about, or the Mrs ranting about the cats that are ranting about. Then slow bfast in front of the PC (checking NFOrce and what have you) till 7:30 or so. Then shower and back on the PC to read the news or check mail or what have you (also listen to streamed Swedish news while doing all this). Around 9 I have to leave as I have be at work 10:00 at the latest (flex time from 7:00-10:00, but I don't need to clock in as a manager, but try to be there before 10:00 anyway). Average driving speed to work 150-180 Km/h depends the roads. Come in at 9:45 normally. 1h lunch at 11:45. And then back home around 17:30 or latest 19:00. an average working day would be around 7-8h I would say, pretty normal.

Well i am at work for right around 10 hrs M-F. However, if we were to take a count of how many hours i actually do work @ work it would be somewhere around 2 hrs a day. Although, we certainly do have busy times but i typically have a decent amount of down time.

My hours fluctuate, but I usually work 25-30 hours a week, so it's not too bad. Now and then I have a 12 hour shift though, it kills me. Respect Unauthorized, don't know how you cope with it.

Well. I worked on Sunday too... 11 hours. 19.00-05.30 (+ some ot)
It doesn't feel good.. thats all I can say.

-

And...today I broke up with my girlfriend, even thou I probably love her too much.
She couldn't place me in her future and It would feel like a complete waste of time for me, being with someone who just see me NOW. 2.5 years down the shitter, again..

I don't know if that explanation was what I'm feeling but whatever.. I felt that this was the best decision.. I hope I will meet someone who wants kids and can picture me in her future.

I feel like crap. I'm soon off to another night of work. 10 hours today thou... wohoo....fucking crap. Another one tomorrow... Feels like never-ending hell right now. This and my mom is diagnosed with cancer refusing surgery for whatever stupid reasons she may have.. I don't know, but this is probably the worst time ever for me. Right NOW.

Damn Surprised

That's alot of shit to deal with man..

What do you work with that requires so many hours a day? Is it 'praktik' you're doing right now?

And shit, won't your mom tell you why she's refusing surgery? I'd do everything i possibly could to get her to go through with it, i mean, cancer is as serious as it gets..

Stay strong, hopefully it doesn't get any worse than already is, so things will probably just get better!

Yeah, I work shifts so its pretty random for me.. some weeks are OK but others are straight hell. Working on Sundays are even worse, when you come home on early morning on Monday and you still have the whole week left! Having Saturday as your only real free day is shit.

I'm happy I got a job thou.. without it things would probably feel even shittier as of now.

im not working atm, studying my final year. But i dont mind working. Im doing research for my Master's thesis atm, and i work 20h straight sometimes. Some days i dont do any work at all

I always said "i dont come out of my house to work less than 50h a week". I can work shitloads, as long as i have the feeling i'm winning and achieving goals. If i feel appreciated in my work, i dont need weeks of holiday. I signed a contract to start my PhD next year, probably will have to work my ass of for shit$. Hopefully it pays good in the future
