Nah with something like that you want it to be quite heavy. Epecially when you're constantly plugging in drives and removing them. Plus the fact that if it's just an empty plastic casing it will be rather top heavy with a drive inserted.

Saw these on Engadget a few months ago. I think they are a great idea if you have a lot of extra hard drives. They gave it a pretty good review if I remember correctly.

The fact that they're made for SATA but the idiots only use USB2.0 instead of E-Sata like they should have. And like Jenni said, cheap plastic casing.

@JennI, it was a suction cup lol

Why would you want your HD exposed out in the open like that unless you were in a repair shop

Hardly any mobos have an eSATA port, nor do they have eSATA PCI cards. USB, on hte otherhand, is universal.
