Never had any issue with ASUS at all. Got a bad motherboard once, took them about 4 days to get me a new one.

Behold his GLORY! Bow for the technical master!

Sorry to hear your troubles with Asus, was this a bad flash from factory or self flash, if i understand you, did you flash the bios in windows ???? , i personally use a usb stick in the bios, I'm not sure if all their boards allow for this . i don't use a floppy drive= hate them......PS: i always backup the original bios file just in case you didn't know....

Was a motherboard that with stock bios didn't support x2 6400, so I didn't have a choice but to update the bios, otherwise part of the blame, tenuously could be directed at me I guess....

My PC doesn't have a floppy drive, so after I Searched the web and discovered that Asus produce software that claims to be able to check and update bios from a Windows environment It saves me a good deal of trouble.....

I guess to a degree it's my fault for not checking the amount of people who had posted on forums with the exact same problem..........
