Doesn't even start I've got all updates like directx threw directx web installer, 8.3 catalysts which claims to improve performance on lost planet, so what could be the problem I thought it will be better with the service pack but looks like the same old shit to me, not interested in dx9 or this game (although that doesn't work either, it gives me a black screen with 'now loading' but I do get ingame and I see the first in game cutscene) I just want to see what dx10 looks like as I still haven't tested it.

the problem here Max is that those cracks where made for 32bit versions of winxp and Vista not for 64bit ,

Cracks are the problem? Well that shouldn't be a problem vista x64 has no problem in emulating 32 bit games and other software, and some people got it working I think.

Call of juarez doesn't work either but dx9 works just fine?! What the hell is going on, maybe my dx10.1 graphics card is bothering these dx10 games somehow somehow and sp1 comes with 10.1 as well, fucking vista

you still don't get it ... THOSE CRACKS ARE MADE ONLY FOR 32BIT VERSIONS OF OS , no game will work in 64bit ...wait only one 64bit crack to this day was made guess for what ....Crysis because people believed it would run faster in 64bit

You are insane 32 bit games do work under 64 bit and I just told you that Coj 32 bit dx9 works normally but not dx10.

As you put in a previous post "64bit EMULATES 32bit games"
Point made, you are emulating, and cracks are never 100% even on the standard 32bit versions... VM locations different, opcodes wrong... This is just how it is, nothing is perfect..
And Crysis 32bit cracks didn't work on Vista 64bit either at the start they had to fix it so it did.

That's not it then dx9 wouldn't work either, don't you think it's a little suspicious that dx9 works (under vista x64) but dx10 doesn't? If I tried a dx10 benchmark or something it wouldn't work either, something is wrong with my dx10.

If he doesn't get it just tell him this:
Make your own x64 crack.

32-bit cracks works just fine under Vista X64 - I use it myself (Vista X64 albeit without Sp1 and I'm using a 2900XT so no DX10.1) and have had no problems.
(32-bit Applications in general work just like they should as the OS and processor is 32/64 bit and not only 64-bit.)
That said I'm unsure what this problem might be, latest DX redistributable is March 2008 and that adds improved support for DX10.1 from what I've read on the DX SDK changelog as do the Catalyst 8.3 drivers so those two together should work fine.
As usual get all updates for the game and make sure the crack isn't damaged or for the wrong version.
Same with CoJ - the DX10 version worked just fine but I had some problems at the beginning due to using the wrong release and version, just took down another release and then it worked just fine.
Also make sure you have all required drivers such as the VC++ redistributable (2005 and now also 2008 - might be worth it to install both the x64 and x32 versions just to be sure, don't forget the SP1 version of the 2005 edition either.)
If the games generate log files after errors then those might also contain the solution, think that CoJ generates those atleast.
EDIT: Also don't force AA as this might cause problems with these titles.
(Based on the changelog from some older Catalyst drivers.)
EDIT: Based on a forum post another user solved the Lost Planet black screen issue by switching to window mode by altering the configuration file. (Probably in the /User/ directory somewhere.)
(Seems to be a game related problem.)
